Health & Safety

Progressive Preschool follows all rules written by the Child Care Licensing, “The mission of CCL is to support working parents by protecting the health and safety of children in regulated child care programs. This is accomplished by: (1) establishing and enforcing health and safety rules for child care programs; (2) training and supporting providers in meeting the established health and safety rules; and (3) providing the public with accurate information about regulated child care”.

We also follow recommendations from the Utah Department of Health.

Our center has a secure entrance.  We use a biometric clock-in and -out system that allows parents entrance into the building; each person picking up or dropping off their child has their own unique fingerprint or double passcode to ensure safety, keeping your children and our staff safe.

While COVID-19 is still ongoing, every person uses a double code only so we can clean and sanitize the screen more frequently and thoroughly.  Per new health guidelines, each child three years of age and older is required to wear a mask while at preschool — we remove them for mealtimes and sleeping.   We do have a limited supply in case you forget yours, but please bring your own, labeled.  A great spot to remember them is in the small pocket of the backpack your child brings each day.
