Shamika has over 175 hours of training since August 2016.

She has her CDA: Infants and Toddlers.

Our staff undergoes 20 hours regular training annually per Child Care Licensing. Each teacher also takes online courses from Better Kid Care and face to face classes by Care About Childcare to enhance their skills and abilities. We have recurring staff meetings in which we train on Environment Rating Scales, specifically ITERS for Infants and Toddlers, and ECERS for preschool age; we also train on SAPQA for school age. Through the Office of Child Care’s Child Care Quality System, we earned a High Quality rating!  That is level 3 of 4 — we eventually want to improve to the highest level of High Quality Plus.
